Elder and Sister Peterson are the Temple President and Matron
President and Sister Peterson
Edwin and JoAnn Peterson are from Whittier, CA. He was a lawyer previously and she worked at least sometimes as his legal secretary. He was a stake president and she has had leadership positions in several of the organizations. They served a temple mission here such as we are doing when the temple first opened in 2000. Then they served a mission in Nauvoo and then were called to come back here. They nurture us along and make us feel good about ourselves as we struggle with the language, ordinances, and customs. Sister Peterson looks like an angel in her white clothing and white hair. They are well beloved by the Dominicans and Senior Missionaries.
