The Allreds

Brother Jeff and Sister Silvia Allred came in January to be the president of the CCM (MTC).  This is a two year call but we are already saying good-bye to them.  Sister Allred was called as a counselor to the General Relief Society president.  Brother Allred says his new call is to be a full-time grandpa.  That's quiet a job because their six married children are scattered all over. They have two unmarried children. Sister Allred is a native of El Salvador.  Sister Allred was a companion to Sister Mask on her young mission in the Central American Mission and Brother Allred was a companion to Elder Mask in the same mission and then both couples got married and both ended up here.  Brother and Sister Allred have spent the bulk of their married life in Latin America.  He has worked previously as a DTA (director of temporal affairs for the church) and has been a mission president in over the Paraguay Asuncion Mission and they have served as public affairs missionaries in Madrid.  I didn't get a picture of them together so click on the link to see a picture of President Allred.
