Traffic
One thing that has surprised me in being here is that many more people have their own cars than say, in Peru. This place seems a lot more prosperous than Peru. We know there is poverty and even extreme poverty but other than some beggers on the street (and they are usually disfigured in some way--missing a leg or something), we don't see a lot of the poverty. There are a lot of SUV's. I see a lot of cars like my Honda CRV. There is a Farrai and Mercedes dealer just down the street from us. Many of the native workers at the temple seem to own their own cars, though not all.
I've added pictures to the Traffic picture folder of some of the traffic things I find interesting. Remember when you go to the folder, thumbnail pictures come up but you can get larger pictures and more comment by clicking on them. Also remember that what we take pictures of is what is different. Much of the traffic seems just like home and therefore, not picture worthy.
