Weeding Assignment

We have chosen to do our weeding assignment on Saturday mornings. We find if we leave all of our P-day stuff (laundry, shopping, weeding, cleaning) until Monday, we run out of time, we are exhausted, and there is no time for anything else we would like to do.

We weed the gardens one the back or the west side of the temple. The large stained glass in the picture at the back of the temple is the celestial room and immediately below it is the chapel.

Yesterday as I was weeding, I disturbed an ants nest. They were all over me in the hundreds, biting me. We had been forewarned about ants and so we put insect repelant on when we go to do our weeding. I brushed them off, squished them, and left my assignment early to go bathe. Then I called our resident doctor (I guess the church was having enough problems with missionary health that they now have doctors called as missionaries to serve the missionaries needs). Our doctor is Doctor Otto. His email tag is eldorodo. Anyway, he gave me a pill and cream. I wasn't too uncomfortable and only had a few bites that showed. This morning, the worst bites have come to a little pussy head.
