We live in the Casa De Huespedes
Casa de Huespedes (Guest House)

Casa de Huespedes

The church built this building.  You can see it in the aerial view of the temple as a long building immediately north of the temple running north and south.  The temple runs east and west.  Casa de Huespedes has four stories.  On the bottom story, south end, is the Mission President's apartment.  Entering from the west end is a family history center, a main foyer, a cafeteria where the missionaries and temple patrons staying in the Casa de Huespedes eat.  I'm not sure how the missionary food is prepared.  The temple patrons fix their own.  There is also a distribution center on the main floor.  Sala Una where we usually have home evening is of the main foyer.  There is also a laundry where the sheets, towels, etc provided by the Casa de Huespedes are laundered.

On the entire south end of the second and third floors are where the senior missionary apartments are located.  They are pretty much the same except the two on the south end have an extra living room window with a view of the temple and the two in the middle of the building have an extra room used as an office.  One is for the physician and that's where he sees his patients.  The other is for the executive secretary to the area presidency and that is where he does all his computer work, telephoning, etc.  The north end of the 2nd and 3rd floors are the rooms for temple patrons.  They have three single beds in a room and a shower.  They are rented to temple patrons for $3/night.  If you came to visit, this is where you would stay for $10/night.  Others stay here also like the BYU troupe who were here for the wheel chair project.  On the second floor is a large room with couches and chairs and a TV for use by the temple patrons although we can use it on occasion.  That is where we watched conference.  There is also a laundry on both the second and third floor.

The 4th floor is the CCM (MTC).  There are dorm rooms for the elders on the northern half and one or two dorms for the sisters on the northern end.  Currently there are four sisters and they are all in the same room.  They have bunk beds.  In between are the offices for the mission president and staff, the mission president's apartment, classrooms, a computer room, and a laundry.
