Temple work done for Bea & Josh

Wow!  I just had another “spiritual witness” dream.  Barbara says I’ve been so restless the last hour and a half that I’ve kept her awake, but I’m completely unaware of any restlessness.  My dream is in response to a previous one I had about Josh in Spirit Prison.  Here’s an excerpt from my pre-mission journal about it:

    Night before last, I had a very strange dream.  I dreamt that Josh was crying for me.  When I found him, he was in a room the size of a small jail cell, but free-standing, about five feet square, made of cement blocks.  The floor was concrete, and the door was wood, about 40 inches wide, made of solid wood planks about two inches thick.  There was an unglazed, barred window in the door about a foot square, at the right height for a standing man to look out.  Josh was crying piteously for me to come and let him out.  The door was not locked or even latched, in any way, and opened out.  I pointed out that all he had to do was push the door open and leave, but he said he couldn’t.  He was covered with dirt, and the dirt could not leave the cell.  He was very, very dirty, with what appeared to be ground-in grime and hard, dry, scaly stuff stuck to his skin.  I told him to just wash the dirt off, and he could go anywhere he wanted to go, but he said that the dirt had been there so long that it had become him, and he wouldn’t be the same person without it.  Besides, there was no water in the cell.  I hated his whining, so I said, “I’ll tell you what.  I’ll bathe and get clean for you.  All you’ll have to do is accept my clean state, and the dirt will just fall off.  He started complaining that he liked the dirt and wanted to take it with him.  I told him that I didn’t know any way to take the dirt out of the cell, but I’d be happy to help him get rid of it, if he decided he wanted to come out.  As I walked away, he was still crying to me for help.  It’s been more than two days, but I still feel that I really spoke to him, though the room and the dirt may have been symbolic.  In any case, it’s a wonderful metaphor for spirit prison, I think.
   
I’ve been burdened ever since I did Josh’s temple work, to talk to him and tell him what I did.  I’ve tried, several times, but I’ve never managed to connect.  Last night, after waking up at about 3:00 am, I tried again.  This time, I connected.  In essence, this is what I told him.

“You asked me to help you get clean, and I promised I would do it just as soon as I could.  Well, I’ve done what I could.  I’ve cut a deal for you, the only way I know how.  There’s a guy who specializes in helping people get free from their prisons.  I’m not sure of all the details of how it’s done, but I know enough to know he’s the recognized expert.  He’s a Jewish guy named Yeshua, fully certified for the work; a real professional.  Yeshua knows you don’t have any means of paying him, so here’s the deal he offers:  He’ll set you free, heal you, set you up, and give you a job, working for him.  You’ll be completely free to come and go as you please.  You and Bea can be together, and when I get there, I can be with you.  You may be able to be with your mother and your brother Dave, too.  We’re working on that.  He’ll teach you the business, from the ground up.  It’s not so different from being a locksmith!  Yeshua will provide all the tools you need.  When you’re fully trained, he’ll set you up in the business for yourself.  Your part of the bargain is to be his apprentice, give him your complete loyalty, and do everything he says. Here, you don’t sign pieces of paper to accept a contract; you make a covenant in front of witnesses.  This deal involved several covenants, made for you by Soren, Amy & Todd, Mandie, Halley, Tali, Barbara, and me, all people who love you and want to be with you.  All you have to do is accept our work on your behalf.
“To accept this covenant and gain your freedom and all these other benefits, the first step is to relinquish each of the stains that’s keeping you here.  In this place, they are called, ‘sins’.  You must repudiate each one, making a firm determination never to do that sin again, or even to want to.  Yeshua will help you to change your wants, too, if you ask him.  They don’t use telephones here.  Instead, you address Yeshua’s father out loud or in your head, recognize gratefully the benefits you’ve already had, and then speak your heart, ending in the name of Yeshua the certified one (Jesus Christ in modern English).  End by saying ‘Amen.’  You know what ‘Amen” means!

All this was very clear, but then I had a dream, of the normally confused type, in which Barbara and I were traveling somewhere in a car, and encountered Bea.  She had accepted all the Temple work done for her, and said she was with Josh now.  For some reason, I could not see him in this dream, just a faceless “shadow figure” hovering near her.  But Bea was not upset, and explained to me that Josh was not done repenting, but had accepted all the Temple work done on his behalf, and we would all be together again someday.  She told me to say ‘Hi!’ to Lee for her.  Mandie was in the dream, too, but I’m already starting to lose the details.

Then Barbara woke up, and woke me up trying to findout what time it was.  I don’t think I’ve ever been awakened with such a feeling of joy in my heart.  Thanks so much, all of you!
